Emery has always wanted an RS. He would like to drive this to the 2012 DSM Shootout, run a 9.50, and drive home, still keeping creature comforts such as A/C, radio and, you know, interior parts. This RS will be his personal daily driver, so there are no customers to please, no wife to please...
This is a local customer's car we have been pondering on, and he's looking for a street-driven, reliable, 600 HP DSM... not really asking for much. :) So, the idea here is to get as much out of that 600 whp as possible: Shed the weight. Here's a picture of when she was all normal and clean: ...
Took a couple days worth of sketching, then about 12 hours of transferring and carving. I got a little ambitious. The front grill started caving in early. I shouldn't have carved all the way through, but other than that, it went pretty smooth
Finally got some seat time! I had a slow start to the night. First pass I'm lined up with a Mustang (please don't lose to this Mustang!) He's got his helmet on, I got my Suomy with the nekked mermaid. We launch, I hit second and was pulling, I had him... and missed third. Mother FU^%&*R!! ...
Last night we finally got a chance to take Ryans car back to the track with a 9 turbo. Its previous best was a 10.5@128 with an 8 turbo. Now running a completely stock Evo IX turbo, no porting, no nothing, we saw a 10.167@131.57! Best mph of 132.70. Currently there is an Evo IX with a faster mph...
Mr Ortiz is one of our nation's finest heading overseas for his duty, so in the meantime, STM will be working their magic... The goal is a 9.50... More to come.

Brandon has been a solid STM customer and great friend for some time now and the numbers and quality of work show it! Cruising around last night taking some photos I can say this car runs, drives, sounds looks and smells (lol) absolutely amazing! With stock turbo numbers like 11.2 @ 122, making...

Guys can you explain the mechanics behind the subject piece? I understand how it works, by not allowing the fork to over extend the throw out bearing thus popping the clip out but would you like to share some more info? Getting for example an Exedy triple plate metallic and installing the...
The time has come for STM to step up to the newest Evolution...
This is it. 8's or bust! The 2011 rebuild is well under way! Last year was a great run for the Ricer, we had it on the street, took it out to dinner, a few local meets, couple car shows, plenty of trips to Ohio for the IDRC Sport Compact Nationals, 2010 Buschur DSM Shootout, it appeared in...
Finally! The shop we've always wanted is available! The original plan was to build a new place from the ground up, but what with all the time, money, weather and building codes, it was going to take a very long time. When we originally moved to this area, the shop we wanted was taken... and now...
We're from NY... it's not supposed to be this HOT!! But none the less, we had a great turnout as expected! {thumbup} The highest AWD HP car that day was Chris Mccarty's EB Evo running his brand new STM forward-facing kit making something like 490, and the dark silver VW won the 2wd class...
