I do not have a car count for the classes this year. I shredded the papers for the event other than 1-2-3 finishers. I need to look into how many cars were in each class. This year I actually made a costly mistake by paying out the same amount to each class, it was an oversight on my part for sure, I must have been in a hell of a good mood.

Does anyone know how many people were in DSA? I do intend to keep all the classes and if all goes well we will be adding one more class for a new car coming out

DSA had around 7-10 cars the whole day. I know when it came time to actually race there were only 5, but there were a few that broke before eliminations started.

Yep! You slacker. ScottH brought me a case of Lager so I was good there but missed the GOOD stuff.

The car is the Hyundai Genesis coupe. There is a thread on here about it. Its RWD and base model uses the 4B11T that the Evo X has. Kind of has the body lines of a G35/350Z.

I have never been to an event and damnit i'm gonna try to make this one....I damn near cried when i was coming back from michigan sunday and saw the AMS EVO and other dsm's on the hiway!!! I'm gonna be in vegas but i have plenty of time to save, mod the car, plan the trip!!!

That evo is a customer car of AMS. Very fast and really cool, but definitely not the AMS evo.

The parts thread is a good idea.I'm interested in the genesis and glad you guys are embracing it knowing about the tech sharing between Mitsubishi/Chysler.Can't wait i hope the rates dont skyrocket higher than last year.

The DSA class with only 5 cars competing is a piss poor turn out for that class. Honestly, I see no reason to keep the class. The rules for the class have been stretched beyond stock appearing because of complaints over the years to add this or that to the class and I have cooperated. Finding out that there ended up being only 5 cars in the class makes me realize the class is pretty dead.

I would think that running in one of the Bracket classes or simply upgrading the turbo and running in DSE makes more sense.

I'll have to give it some thought but with this information I am thinking the class will more than likely be cancelled.
