I want to thank all of you guys. I hope this is the biggest and best year ever, it's important this year to prove a point you can't stop this event to the other douche bags who are attempting it. There is only ONE real DSM/EVO Shootout and it sure as hell isn't in New Jersey!

I would not be caught dead at the other shootout... They always say that we are the bandwagon, and the nutswingers and blah blah blah... someone needs to show them a mirror.

Excellent shootout, thanks Dave and everyone that makes this thing possible! It just keeps getting bigger every year...unbelivable how big the crowd was once again, just plain unbeliveable.

Thank you guys for coming out, it was a very good weekend. I can't even complain too much about the heat because it's sure better than rain!

Can we get a break down of the results ? Q16 winner and time ? I left a little early track clean up and the HEAT killed me

    EDIT ***

Where can I buy one of those T-shirts with Dave doing a flying kick in a wrestling suit ? Seriously.

Truly.... a great event! Bottom line. GREAT turnout.

A lot of hardwork goes into the event every year from people in the Wakeman community to all of us here at the shop to try to make it run as smoothly as possible. Then on Sunday the Summit Racing Motorsports Park crew is the best in the business. No doubt about it. A big thanks goes to the Bader Family and the entire group of quality professional track officials they bust their butt to make our event a success.

The shootout is more fun every year for me honestly because from the day after it ends I talk to more new people via PM, phone or email and when the event comes around next year I get the chance to put faces with the names.

As always it was great to see and spend time with my friends I see once maybe twice a year. Caleb Fetter, Chad Block, Curt Brown, Yusuf Begic, Mike Reichen, Dave Bruzewski, Mike from AWD and his crew, Big Al, Emery & Shawna from STM and their crew, Leon Reitman, Bruce Kwartler, Darryl Hudson just to name a few. Its always a great time to see old friends and meet new.

My highlight of the shootout weekend was seeing my good friend and customer Matt Smith from Winston-Salem North Carolina click off his first 9 second pass personally in his Evo that he's been trying to get for awhile now. Matt is one of the most stand up guys I have ever met in life or racing. Always a good attitude, always willing to help someone out with no questions asked and is a good sportsman & fellow racer. He's had some bad luck in the past and he never once gave up. Congrats Matt!

Im also very glad that big Keith was Ok. I spend some time every year talking to Keith after meeting him a few years ago here. One of the nicest guys you could spend time talking to. He got here late on Saturday afternoon and told me that he had some bad luck on the way here but as he told me "By the grace of god I'm here man and I couldnt be happier. Now I want to shower, eat and take it all in!". Im glad god was looking down on him yesterday afternoon as well. Cars can be replaced. Guys like Keith can not.

From all of us here at Buschur Racing thank you for your support of Buschur Racing and THE Largest Mitsubishi event/race on the planet! You all make the event what it was and what it will be! Thank you!

    See you all next year!
