Lets keep it on topic guys.

I think with just basic bolt ons you will see this car wake up. Seems like the everything is very small and restrictive from factory. The only problem i see is who is going to tune this? Is Al going to put the time into figuring this out?

Speaking of bolt ons, looks like "that other company" untuned with boost to 18psi falling to 12psi at redline made 240whp/tq. That's good news considering it was claimed to be with full exhaust, intercooler and piping and boost up. Hopefully a proper tune can get another 15-20whp and I'll meet my goal (300flyhp).
It's awfully quiet in the GenCoupe BR forums, I'm hopeful they're brewing some sweet sauce for the GenCoupe.

There is benefit to waiting to see what other companies come out with all while working on your own parts and really getting parts right the first time. There's no huge rush (accept for personal inabilities to wait patiently) to get parts out there for "to get parts out there" sake.

Waiting (as patiently as I can)! ha ha

Today we were able to wrap up our mini battery kit for the 4cyl Genesis Coupe. Installing our mini battery allowed us to drop 25.2lbs out of the front of the car. With our kit we were able to position the battery as close to the fire wall as possible while also lowering the position of the battery. We wanted to keep the kit low and tight to help with the handling of the car as much as possible.

Here you will see the factory battery positioned:

Here you will see the new Buschur Racing Mini Battery kit and how much smaller and lower it truly is.

    The kit will come with:
    Mini Battery
    Buschur Racing Mini Battery Tray
All necessary pieces and hardware needed for installation

The final production piece will NOT have the front empty hole shown in the picture.

Installation takes about 10 minutes. There is no cutting of any kind required.

    Price: $299

Nice batt Jrod. Hmmm...still see the stock IC piping... That little battery reminds me of the little burgers commercial. "Oh, that battery is so cute"

The stock IC piping is on in the first picture because that picture was taken at the dealer. if you notice the engine bay pic with the battery kit there is no piping even in the car.

big fan of the weight reducing mini battery. though i have a bit of a noob question... when the battery starts to die and needs replacing, where would one pick a replacement up locally? and what size and cca rating is it? it's a bit impractical to have to order a battery online or over the phone and wait for it to be shipped when it needs replacing.

As we continue on with the R&D of the "Deuce Coupe" here at the shop we are prototyping and finalizing additions to our product line. With all of our daily tasks at the shop and this being such a new platform the entire R&D and fabricating process is very time consuming when added in with all of our other daily tasks, but we are progressing and moving right along.

The first pictures that you are going to see are our prototype hot and cold intercooler pipe kits. The pipes will be mandrel bent 2 1/2" aluminum and will be available in polished, brushed or a powder coated finish. Each kit will include all couplings and clamps needed for installation.

    PRICE: T B D

Next is one of 2 front mount intercooler offerings that will be available from Buschur Racing. The Buschur Racing GC Standard FMIC upgrade requires only MINOR sanding of the inside of the front fascia. I have included pictures so you can see what will need to be done in order for this larger core to fit.

    Measurements: 24" wide x 8" tall x 3 1/2" thick

    Horsepower Rating: 650hp

    PRICE: T B D

    Front fascia inside BEFORE sanding:

    Front fascia inside AFTER sanding:

Very minimal right? You cant tell its been touched especially from the front of the car.

We will have more on the other Buschur Racing FMIC offering later as the R&D and fitment wraps up with that. This will be coming but not RIGHT away. For now I will let you know that the Buschur Racing GC Race FMIC will come in at 24" wide x 12" tall and 3 1/2" thick while being rated to handle up to 1000hp. The price on this kit is also T B D. The Race core is will REQUIRE removal or modification of your front crash bar.

Each FMIC kit will utilize a Garrett intercooler core.

I had some inquiries of "reference" type of "comparrison" pics of the FMIC's compared to some items so this morning I took the time to snap a few more pics.

Compared to a 16oz ROCKSTAR Energy can. Its a subliminal message to not drink coffee anymore and to drink nothing but ROCKSTAR.

Here is also another with a shot compared to a pack of Marlboro's since there is a guy here who does smoke. Buschur Racing does not condone smoking, drinking or use of any other types of narcotics. Tobacco, alcohol and/or drugs can cause serious health issues. Use at your own risk.

As for boost and high horsepower... Yes we're addicted and we "use" those daily.

Want to upgrade your Coupe's tiny factory FMIC? Well removing your factory intercooler will leave you needing something. Support for your radiator!

Dont worry..... Buschur Racing has you covered!

The new Buschur Racing Genesis Coupe Radiator Support Brackets are available now!

These high quality billet brackets will replace the mounting points that your factory intercooler provided for your radiator without any hassle. These are a direct bolt in piece and reuse the factory mounting bolts.

    The brackets before installation:

    Bracket #1 installed:

    Bracket #2 installed:

Radiator back into the location it was from the factory:

All straight and ready to roll!

These will be included in the Buschur Racing Genesis Coupe FMIC upgrade kits but they will also be available for purchase seperately. We know there are those who want to fab parts themselves or these can be a solution for those using other companies FMIC kits who may not be offering a radiator support solution other than keeping the factory FMIC intact.

    PRICE: $74.99

These will be available on Buschurracing.com on Monday!

Hey Jarrod looks good dude!! I haven't had a chance to look at one of these cars that close yet but with the small opening in the bumper and the bigger intercooler.... you have any ideas for a larger opening maybe to get my air flow over the whole thing or not?? either way again looks good!

Alot of people focus on "the opening".

I have no plans of cutting my front bumper if thats what you're asking. I also have no plans of putting an aftermarket front fascia on unless there is something CLEAN looking released and not all "ricey".

I think the air flow will be just fine to the FMIC. Im not too worried about it.

We finished up a very important part to our intercooler piping for the Coupe.

This is the MAP sensor bung that we're going to be using in our IC pipe kit. The Map sensor is required for mounting back into aftermarket piping. Doing bits and pieces like this is what R&D is all about as the CNC programming, cutting, design, etc... takes time.

The way the bung looks on the factory IC pipe.

We are selling these seperate for the custom do it yourself guys also.

We have been debating what we wanted to do for the Buschur Racing exhaust offering on the Coupe for a little while now and thought that something that looked stock like would suite many peoples needs that get harassed about aftermarket parts on their vehicles or ones who just want to have the car stock appearing from the outside.

After working on some designs we came up with what we wanted to do but had to wait on the components to be made and arrive here at the shop before we could venture in mocking up the system.

Last week while I was on vacation the parts arrived and David & Trent had the chance to get the Deuce on a lift and wrap up the prototype exhaust. While they were doing it Trent was texting me pics so I could check it out. It was like getting hot nekkid girlie pics.

When it was all said & done.... They NAILED what we were going for dead on the money! The system looks sick! You can not see the muffler at all from the back of the car and the tips fit into place perfectly.

The finished product will be 3" mandrel bent 304 S.S. The tips will be as they appear in the picture.

These are 3 of the shots I got on my phone. I do not have in high res as they were taken on a cell phone and sent to me but I will get some finalized pics up shortly.

    Catback tube under the car:

    Exhaust Tip:

    Rear shot:

Here are a few pics I took as Trent was finishing up the jigs this morning.

    Catback Tube:

    Exhaust Tip:

    Muffler Assembly:

    PRICE: TBD

The system is currently not on the car as it had to be removed to make the jigs and some final adjustments.

Once the system is back on the car I will get you a sound clip of the system, some dyno #'s and some high res detailed shots.
