Thanks Kevin! It was just a "quick" throw together. I have to save the good stuff for the 8 second video. I have some idea's.

The car weighs about 2985 with Kevin in it. I say about because the wheels this year are a bit lighter but Kevin did some eating over the winter. haha

I refuse to change seats, brakes, pull the exhaust or anything else off the car. This IS a STREET car and I am going to keep it that way. I may not ever have the absolute quickest or fastest EVO ever again but I do intend to have the quickest/fastest true street EVO. I have my own idea/opinion on what a real EVO should be and maybe that's how I'll end up with the quickest and fastest one!! haha

Pretty sure most people on here feel the same way..I'm not a fan of a 9 sec car that has to be trailered in an out....Ya its fast but the real credit comes from a car that can run 8 or 9 seconds and then go grab some food after the race.....(legally), while watching a movie on your indash with the a/c.....

Uh oh, I may be in trouble then. The car has had no a/c since about a month after buying it and the DVD player is out of it, just a standard EVO radio.

On the first photo shown in the event, I was taken aback by how good and clean and mean your 9's street car looks, including the "normal" width tire considering the ET

I was gobsmacked by the pictures of the car during launches...THE TIRES AND WHEELS were not changed! Those stock size looking tires...in a 9's car!

Since I am a true fan of true street drag car, I like tires and wheels that are close to stock sizes, can you tell what wheels and tires used for the drag event

Wheels are 17" League wheels that will fit the M/T slick on them.

Haha, awesome work though Dave. I am excited to see the 9 second pass that the 'bid bish' achieves.

First off Dave, congrats on what you have achieved so far with this car. Being in the same business I know what it takes and good luck with your quest for 8's. It looks like it will come.

I don't want to start an argument, but why make comments on race cars, like below. (copied from another thread).

To be honest... it seems as no one cares about an all out drag Evo anymore. You run a time or MPH, then its talked about for 3 or 4 days then its over. David's RS gets a crazy amount of attention and following because its still actually a car. Not a gutted, cut up can with one purpose.

I'm going to concentrate on the BadBish now and would like to get it to dip into the 8's. I refuse to ruin the car and turn it into another useless drag car. I want to be able to drive it to and from the track and anywhere else I feel the need to.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, race cars are built for one purpose and built to comply with rules that govern the class they are entering. I don't think that makes them "useless" or "a gutted tin can".

Some people label race cars as "trailer ponies" and yes our car goes to the track either on a trailer or with a trailer every time, for the simple reason that we can get it home, when it's sorry ass breaks.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but do you run this car without a roll cage. Up here in Canada you would never be allowed to run the times you do without one. I personally would not let my son drive any sub 11 sec car without one.

Just a few comments, no flame outs needed.

Look forward to seeing it run at the Shootout.

Everyone has a right to their own op , dont take it to heart... I dont think they mean to harm you or any other person/shop , everyone has their own mindset on what they feel is perfect set up or evo....
