    Default Stock 1g maf question for all you pros

    I am currently resurecting a 90 laser turbo that has sat for around 2 years in my buddys yard. I bought the car with absolutely nothing in it useable except the harness. it came with no motor trans exhaust ecu or brakes. Well here is my question for those of you who know. I know that 90s have differant computers cam angle sensors coils and other random things. But how about the mafs??? I have about 6 stock turbo 1g dsm mafs in my garage and idk what the years of them are some are out of 90s some out of 91-94s are they all the same, or is there a way to tell the differance if they are differant....any help is greatly appreciated.

    I have used all different years of 1g mafs on '90 models with no problem.

    all 1g mafs are the same but you should def look into getting some bigger injectors than the 450s and run a 2g maf trust me not having fuel cut and having better air flow meter in the car DEF makes your ride feel alot better
