Default The start of project clean 1g.

So I have had several DSM's but never been happy with the body on them little rust here and there and always just bothered me. I finally came across and extremely clean 1g that i bought off my friend. When i bought the car it came with next to nothing in the car as he was going to build it into a dedicated track car. That's not me so i've been very very slowly putting it back together as i get the parts and everything here are a few recent pics of the car.

She's pretty but she don't do much other than sit in my parents yard right now lol....

My dad was cleaning his dirt bike and thought that my spoiler was a good spot for his plastics....

And the bottom end to put in her (stock for now bleh)

Goals for the car are Buschur stage 3 block and head, probably a 2.3 on E85 with a 6262 once i get her running first then slowly build the other parts up.

that is a good looking car. It is soooo difficult to find clean , unmolested 1gs these days . They are starting to be a dying breed sadly.

    Good luck with the car.

Looks like a good shell to start a project.

Do you see the moisture in the park lamp assembly on the passenger side? Here is an easy fix. Take it off the car and drill 3 or 4 small holes in the bottom of it, this allows air inside and it will dry the moisture out and keep it that way.

hey dude you should hit these guys up, they bought my 1G and are building it for the GRM 2010 challenge, I'm guessing a lot of stuff is gonna get sold from it.

Clean, stock, unmolested, unmodded 1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD! Only 90,500 miles, but way overpriced. The downside: it's an auto. If you're looking to build a consistent ATX drag car, this is a good one.
