Front Drivers Axle replacement PITA!!

Ok so my left front drivers side CV boot was cracked, I went to O'reilleys to get a new boot. Dealer is on crack $93 for a CV boot. Entire replacement axle was $50, so I went that route. Anyway I got the axle separated with a BFH. Now I need to get the axle back in the intermediate shaft. I cant get anyone around here to touch it. I called the dealer $140. Does anyone know a cheaper way of getting this done?

I remember this post, this axle just broke yesterday. I didn't even launch the car. I need to just replace the boot on my old front axle. I've seen them for $54 now.
