    Default My 4G63 SL-R

She's a SL-R (Super Lite Roadster) made by RCR in Detroit.

I just picked her up Monday! I was really hoping to get her alot sooner so I had time to finish her beofre the shootout. I really wanted to see what she could do in the new Max Effort class. Next year though!

I'm going to document every aspect of the build on the forums and in my blog (ProjectSL-R.com). Hopefully it won't take too long.

I can't wait to drop the 6bolt in her! She should scoot pretty good!

You can view the full specs of my SL-R at:

haha! Mine too! With most of the options, the final price came out to ~23K. It didn't come with an engine, trans, wiring harness, ecu or clean pants

23k damn that is NOT BAD at all, I have always wanted a vehicle that has the power of my FWD and the handling abiliity of my evo,

see However I would want to put it all together myself though, Was the 23k PRICE tag for them to put it together ?

that is VERY VERY badass man, If you are at the shootout, we will HAVE to chat about your SLR

23K didn't include the build, which I wanted to do, and you don't have to get all the options I did. You can save $ by sourcing your own fuel tank, wheels, brakes, suspension, etc.

You can get the full option list and pricing breakdown at:
