    Default dsm gauge cluster

    i just got my 1993 eagle talon to fire up 2day but none of the gauges are working on the cluster i tired switching the cluster but dose same thing any advise is much appreciated.

    Check the continuity in the wires . If you do not have continuity in the wires from the sending units to the gauges than your grounding out somewhere. Or before you do that check your fuses and see if any are blown.

    i may be wrong but don't the speedometer and tach and such have voltage regulators.. This could be bad.. If not i would say make sure none of the wires are stripped and ground out, also could be b/c the dimmer switch is broken but i believe that causes only the lights to not work... and obviously check all your fuses

    I had a crazy problem one time when I took my cluster out and put it back in it stopped working for a while. Then after a couple days it started working again and has been fine ever since. I know it seems unlikely but maybe the computer has to adjust to it again. idk.

    ok i have an update .... i guess the owner before me said that there was a wire that came undone from the main fuse box. thanks for all the advise guys.

    Im here to confess, i was the second gunman on the grassy knoll............................................. ...Come on you all know what movie that is from. dont lie haha. Dont worry bonbon we'll get it figured out i just gota spend some time tracing wires and stuff.
