Default Difference between Exedy Triple Disc MMMM023SR and MM023HR

Hey guys, I am in need of a Triple Disc clutch and I was wondering if anyone had experience with both the 023SR and 033HR clutches. I know that the HR holds up to more torque but I do not see myself making above 600wtq ever so would the SR or HR be a better choice. I will be drag racing the car quite a bit next year as well.

Hmmm I have the Hyper triple cerametallic clutch.. I use it as a daily and its fairly easy to drive with and can handle alot and longevity is also a big plus. The triple carbons are the one that don't last for long and ard more geared toward weekend/competion track car

Whats in my car? Take 1 of everything Stage 3 in the Buschur Catalog and there ya go

Yeah, im only looking for the ceramtetallic and not the carbon. However there are two cerametallic clutches both the SR and HR. Would I just be better off with the HR?

Do the SR for sure. No need for the HR. The SR's pedal feel is lighter than stock. I have an SR and made 565/550 on Buschurs dyno (dynojet numbers would be around 650/630) and my clutch is doing just fine at that power level.

I'm running the HR... I have lofty goals of over 750+ on race gas... I just plan ahead a tad.. but its easy on my leg for daily driving...

Don't forget the ratings for the different clutches are rated in ft-lbs of torque at the crank. The MM023HR is rated at 880ft-lbs of torque at the crank. The MM023SR is rated at 670ft-lbs of torque at the crank. I have a good used MM023HR here that had 1200 miles on it. I put new friction discs in it and it's ready to ship. I'm asking 1850 shipped for it. Feel free to drop me an email at jmelocik@yahoo.com
